Westwood Day Volunteer Sign-up
Please volunteer at WCS booth at Westwood Day on 10/3. Volunteer sign-up sheet will be posted at the door this Sunday. We need volunteers for assist face painting, chopstick ball game, and Chinese calligraphy. It is counted as parent duty and you can get $25 back from PTO after volunteering.

曾竹戈，职业女高音，简介
曾竹戈是一位优秀的花腔女高音歌唱家,她的演唱声音甜美,音色统一,具有很强的穿透力,是一位很有音乐歌唱天赋的艺术家。她早年毕业于湖南省艺术学校戏曲专业。1998年获得加拿大麦吉麦斯特大学声乐学士学位。2000年获得加拿大维尔费瑞德大学歌剧表演证书。曾竹戈在2001年被提名为 Dora Mavor最佳歌唱演员,2000年获得加拿大合唱协会青年艺术家比赛奖,1997年获得泊尔音乐节奖,1993年获得北美洲歌唱大赛头奖。多年来,曾竹戈在北美参加了多部歌剧的演出,如莫扎特的著名歌剧＂魔笛＂等等。她在加拿大歌剧院的首演歌剧“Iron Road”中饰演女一号,被时代杂刊称赞音色甜美,演技超群。
